What is the difference between characters with spaces and without spaces?

'With spaces' counts every character you typed, including spaces, tabs, and line breaks. 'Without spaces' counts only the visible characters — useful when a publisher specifies a character limit that excludes whitespace.

How is reading time estimated?

Reading time assumes an average adult silent reading speed of 238 words per minute. Speaking time uses 130 words per minute, which is closer to a comfortable presentation pace.
