About the Calorie Calculator
Daily calorie targets depend on your basal metabolic rate (BMR) multiplied by an activity factor. This calculator uses Mifflin–St Jeor, the most accurate widely-used formula for healthy adults.
Use the result as a starting point for weight maintenance, then adjust up or down by ~300–500 kcal/day to gain or lose weight gradually.
